Most of those who live in the Tokyo metropolis tend to think that they know it well.  Central Tokyo, however, has gone through tremendous changes in recent years.  We will not just look at façade of these changes but understand their context.  To name a few, we will see how the historical landmarks are protected and preserved while striking balance with modern architectures, a social trend behind recent changes, and so on.  Tokyo is an epitome of entire Japan.  At the end of the tour, we will have a good grip on the social trend of Japan and how we come to terms with historical heritage
